Direct Aid Program (DAP)

The Direct Aid Program is a competitive small grants program funded by the Australian Aid program which aims to support community projects that align with Australia's aid program priorities.
Community groups and organisations can apply for grants of up to TOP 8,000 for projects that demonstrate a strong benefit to local communities and align with the priority areas of :
  • people with disabilities
  • women and girls
  • income generation and livelihoods
  • human rights
  • environment and climate change
  • community health
  • arts and culture
  • youth and social inclusion

2021-22 DAP Rounds

The DAP will be open for three rounds in the 2021-22 financial year –
Round 2: 30-10 September 2021
Round 3: 10-21 January 2022
Round 4: 04-15 April 2022
We prefer applications to be submitted online through the SmartyGrants portal, which will be available each round. However, should you require a hard copy application please contact the DAP Program Manager on [email protected] or contact 20411.
