OFFICE MANAGER – DEFENCE SECTION OFFICE
The High Commission has a vacancy for an Office Manager to manage all aspects of the Defence Section office in the High Commission, including supervising and coordinating with the Defence Cooperation Program Administrative Assistants in Nuku’alofa and other countries of accreditation.
The successful applicant will have well developed English language written and oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated capacity to make sound decisions and exercise judgment. They will also have a sound administrative background and a good understanding of budget management. The position requires experience using computer-based applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Eligibility to acquire an Australian National Security Clearance would be an advantage.
Part-time hours may be considered.
The annual salary for this position will be negotiated depending on the ability and experience of the successful candidate.
